Grub N Gab Toastmasters Oct. 24 Recap

This week’s theme “National Food Day” was fun and light-hearted.  Our Toastmaster Deb shared healthy snacks of hummus, pita, tomato, basil and mozzarella.  She inspired our Table Topics Master Saurab to create humorous questions about food, which resulted in passionate responses from our members.

 

Our one and only speaker was Julie who gave an informative speech about a new car, the Kia Soul.  She did a great job delivering a speech without relying on written notes and used a miniature car model as a unique visual. 

 

Heather carefully evaluated Julie’s speech, and Marc was selected as the winner of the best Table Topics with his humorous response about his love of spicy food.
